This version fixes a security bug in previous versions that in certain situations could allow a user to create unwanted files on your server.

Our freeware version is provided as a test installer to make sure that the Ultimate Bulletin Board will install and run on your intended server before you purchase the full version. Nonetheless we are aware that many people have left the freeware on their servers and many other people are using the freeware versions in unsupported day to day operations.

If you are using a freeware UBB please upgrade your version to 2000d. If you have an abandoned freeware UBB on your server you are advised to simply delete it.
