The latest version of OpenTopic™ software contains a number of enhancements to the popular OneCommunity™ integration tool.

For Professional and Enterpise plans this powerful API allows customers to integrate existing member data base directly into an OpenTopic™ community.

Features

· can be adapted to any database backend
· based on the standard HTTP protocol
· an intuitive set of programming commands
· can be written in any programming language
· never requires OpenTopic™ access to your passwords
· gives explicit control over what information is passed to the OpenTopic™ system.
· uses a simple and secure method to prevent spoofing or break-ins to your information
· user information is updated at each login
· built-in error handling and recognition of unauthorized access
· fully documented with a step by step implementation guide included

Infopop has extended OneCommunity to support a shared database environment. A customer database can maintain the all-important login and security fields. The OpenTopic™ profile can store more popular fields such as interest, URLS and pictures.

For more information on OneCommunity integration of your member data, contact Infopop.

No screenies I'm afraid. This is an invisible feature.

OneCommunity is used when you register users somewhere other that in your forums (and OpenTopic just syncs with that registration database).

Try it out on a site using OneCommunity:
